The rankings are based off of both track and driver points.
Track Points
Track points are calculated based on where you stand in the quick time battle for each track. The driver that holds the quick time for a track receives a maximum of 75 points,
second recieves 70 points and so on down to 0.
Driver Points
Driver points are calculated on the last 7 days of racing with at least 4 drivers and are based on where you finished in the race and how many peeple you were racing against.
It also takes into consideration the level of competitioin that was in the race. If you were racing against 5 people that are ranked in the top fifteen it applies a multiplier to the points you receive for that race.
In doing so, you get rewarded for racing drivers with a higher skill level.
Overall Ranking
The final ranking is figured by adding your track and driver point totals together and are then sorted from highest to lowest (1-15).
During this process it also checks the driver's previous ranking position and displays the change on the ranking grid noted by the plus and negative signs.
You may also see an asterisk which means that this driver is new to the ranking grid.
